Wednesday, December 18, 2019, is the bicentennial of the birth of our founder, Servant of God Isaac Hecker.

Fr. Hecker was born on December 18, 1819, in New York City, the son of German immigrants. Before founding the Paulist Fathers in 1858, Fr. Hecker was one of the Redemptorists.

In this video, Redemptorist Fr. Mike Brehl, superior general of the congregation, sends his warm greetings for Fr. Hecker’s bicentennial.
