The Paulist Associates Board hopes that this booklet is a valuable tool for Associates, Paulists, and all who are interested in the spirituality and thought of Servant of God, Isaac Hecker.
The Paulist Associates in Columbus, Ohio compiled various Isaac Hecker quotes and sent them to the Board for distribution to all Associates. Board members decided to identify the original source (whenever possible) and arrange the quotes by topic.
The Board hopes that this format will allow individuals to search the document more easily and find the essence of Hecker’s thinking on some themes in his writings. The original source citations will also be helpful to facilitate further study.
