Chris Lawton entered the Paulist Fathers' novitiate on August 25, 2018.
He made his first promise to our missionary society on September 6, 2019.
A native of Oconomowoc, WI, Chris earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University where he studied biochemical sciences.
He then earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York City.
During his years in New York, he was a resident at New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellow at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
In recent years, Chris had returned to the Milwaukee area where he was an attending physician and assistant professor of medicine in palliative care at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Chris met the Paulist Fathers during his years as a parishioner and ministry team member at our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.
