We wish to express our profound gratitude to the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) for presenting us with the organization’s 2017 Catechetical Award.

NCCL is an association of diocesan directors of religious education, parish-based directors of religious education, parish catechetical leaders, catechists, and other Catholic educators. The organization has been meeting this week in Dallas, TX, for its annual conference (this year’s theme: “Transformative Leadership”).

The Catechetical Award was presented today during a special luncheon. On hand to receive the award were Paulist Fr. Frank DeSiano and Paulist Fr. Kenneth Boyack, president and vice president of Paulist Evangelization Ministries (a longtime exhibitor at NCCL gatherings).

 

NCCL’s Catechetical Award is presented each year “to a person, persons, or institution that has contributed in an outstanding and exemplary way to the ministry of catechesis through their life of witness to the Word of God; magnanimous spirit of love and service to the Church; pioneering spirit, innovative vision, dedication and significant contribution to the ministry of catechesis in the Church at large.”

We are so proud to receive this distinction!

Through our parish missions, Paulist Evangelization Ministries, Paulist Press, Paulist Productions, Busted Halo, Landings International, Catholic Information Centers, parishes, and campus ministries, we are blessed to have the opportunity to serve the cause of religious education and evangelization.
