During the Paulist Fathers’ Pre-Assembly meeting held March 10-12, 2014, in Las Vegas, NV, the Office of Financial Development launched a new and exciting program to support our planned giving efforts: The Paulist Fathers Hecker Legacy Society. The Society is comprised of persons who have informed the Paulists of their desire to remember the Missionary Society of St. Paul in their wills. The purpose of the Legacy Society is to acknowledge the support of the work of the Paulists and assure a future for the Missionary Society of St. Paul: The Paulist Fathers.

Membership in the Hecker Legacy Society is open to any individual who submits documentation of an estate gift to the Fathers. There is no minimum gift amount to become a member and membership is retroactive. For supporters who have previously informed us of their intention, they will be receiving their membership packages soon.

Each member of the Society will receive:

• A Hecker Legacy Society Membership Certificate
• A Hecker Legacy Society Lapel Pin
• Invitation to the annual Hecker Legacy Society luncheon hosted by the President of the Paulist Fathers
• A prayerful remembrance at a Hecker Legacy Society Mass which will be held annually on November 1, All Saints Day, as well as weekly Masses at St. Paul’s College Chapel, and in the prayers and Masses of our Paulist Fathers and laity around the world.
• A lifetime subscription to our Legacy newsletter, which features stories and information about our work along with timely ideas for financial planning.
• Upon written permission, and in special remembrance, an acknowledgement of your generosity will be published in our newsletter.
• With written permission, the inscription of your name in our Legacy Society Registry will be maintained in a place of honor at the North American Paulist Center in Washington, DC.

Your generosity has sustained the Paulists and their work throughout North America. By joining the Legacy Society, you ensure that the Paulists will continue to provide service to God’s Children in the future.
