Paulist Fr. Rich Andre is director of the Paulist Center in Boston.

He previously served as associate pastor at St. John XXIII University Parish at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and as the associate pastor of St. Austin Church in Austin, TX.

Fr. Rich has been a featured speaker at technical conferences and scientific colloquia. While in Austin, he worked with a team of lay collaborators to create an extensive lectionary guide to help people engage more deeply with the scriptures at Mass. Fr. Rich is a native of the Pittsburgh area and a 1992 graduate of Baldwin High School.

He earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in optics from the University of Rochester. He then worked for seven years in the semiconductor and telescope industries before entering our seminary.

He was ordained a priest on May 19, 2012, at our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle, in New York City.
