Paulist Fr. Michael Evernden is based at Old St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco.

He previously served at St. Philip Neri Church in Portland, OR.

Fr. Mike offers parish retreats, days of recollection and online adult education sessions.

One of his topics is "Giving Voice to the Word of God – in Scripture, Prayer & Sacraments, and Daily Life." He offers a practical approach to living our faith one day at a time, as well as a guide to discovering and sharing our faith story with a deepening our awareness of God's living presence among us.

Fr. Mike made his first promises to the Paulist community on June 15, 1968.  He was ordained a priest on May 4, 1974.

He met the Paulist Fathers at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Los Angeles when he accompanied a friend to an inquiry session for people thinking about becoming Catholic.
