Three Paulist Seminarians Ordained Transitional Deacons

September 15, 2016

Paulist seminarians Matthew Berrios, Steven Petroff and Stuart Wilson-Smith have taken the next steps on their formation journeys.

On Friday, September 2, during a Mass at the St. Vincent de Paul Chapel at The Catholic University of America, Matthew, Steven and Stuart made their final professions as members of the Missionary Society of St. Paul the Apostle.

At another Mass on Saturday morning, the trio were ordained transitional deacons by Bishop Mario Eduardo Dorsonville-Rodríguez of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. The Mass was celebrated in the crypt church at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

Below are glimpses from these special liturgies. Please continue to pray for Matthew, Steven and Stuart!
