The Missionary Life

This week, several Paulist Fathers are beginning new assignments.  Please keep them all in your prayers as they experience this necessary part of missionary life that can be both exciting and nerve-wracking.
 
Here is the list:
 
Paulist Fr. John Ardis is becoming pastor of Old St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
– Paulist Fr. Bernard Campbell is becoming vice rector of St. Patrick’s Catholic American Parish in Rome, Italy, this September.
 
– Paulist Fr. Bob Cary is entering senior ministry in Grand Rapids, MI.
 
– Paulist Fr. Ryan Casey, who was ordained a priest in May, is becoming associate pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community in Los Angeles.
 
Paulist Fr. Joe Ciccone is becoming pastor of our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.
 
Paulist Fr. René Constanza is becoming rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI, and the superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.  He will continue to serve as director of the Catholic Information Center in Grand Rapids.
 
Paulist Fr. Chuck Cunniff is becoming associate director of the Paulist Center in Boston.
 
– Paulist Fr. Charlie Donahue is becoming associate director of St. Thomas More Newman Center in Columbus, OH.
 
– Paulist Fr. John Duffy, who has been in senior ministry, is moving to Austin, TX, later this summer.
 
Paulist Fr. John Geaney is entering senior ministry in Boston.
 
– Paulist Fr. Tom Gibbons is becoming director of development and production at Paulist Productions in Los Angeles.
 
– Paulist Fr. Michael Hennessy, who was ordained a priest in May, is becoming associate pastor of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
 
Paulist Fr. Paul Huesing is becoming superior of the Paulist Fathers in Vero Beach, FL.
 
– Paulist Fr. Tom Holahan entered senior ministry in April.  He will continue to be based in New York City.
 
– Paulist Fr. Bart Landry is joining our mission band, leading parish missions and retreats.  He will be based in San Francisco.
 
Paulist Fr. Gilbert Martinez is becoming pastor of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Community in Los Angeles and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
– Paulist Fr. Daniel McCotter is entering senior ministry in Chicago.
 
Paulist Fr. Ed Nowak is becoming director of the St. Thomas More Newman Center in Columbus, OH, and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
Paulist Fr. Brad Schoeberle is becoming pastor of Old St. Mary’s Church in Chicago and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
– Paulist Fr. Dick Sparks, a member of our mission band, is moving to Vero Beach, FL. 
 
 
At the same time, the following Paulist Fathers have been renewed for new terms in their existing assignments:
 
– Paulist Fr. Don Andrie, pastor of St. John XXIII University Parish in Knoxville, TN.
 
– Paulist Fr. Greg Apparcel, rector of St. Patrick’s Catholic American Parish in Rome, Italy.

 
– Paulist Fr. Frank DeSiano, president of Paulist Evanglization Ministries and director of formation of the Paulist seminary, both in Washington, D.C.
 
– Paulist Fr. Dave Dwyer, director of Busted Halo Ministries in New York City.
 
– Paulist Fr. Ron Franco, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Knoxville, TN, and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.

 
– Paulist Fr. Mark-David Janus, president of Paulist Press in Mahwah, NJ.
 
– Paulist Fr. Chuck Kullmann, pastor of St. Austin’s Church in Austin, TX, and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
– Paulist Fr. Michael McGarry, director of the Paulist Center in Boston.
 
– Paulist Fr. Ivan Tou, pastor of Newman Hall-Holy Spirit Parish in Berkeley, CA, and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
 
– Paulist Fr. Rick Walsh,superior of the Paulist Fathers in Boston.
