The Missionary Life: New Assignments

This month, several Paulist Fathers are beginning new assignments.

Please pray for them during his necessary part of missionary life that can be both exciting and challenging.

Here is the list:

Paulist Fr. Steven Bell is becoming associate pastor of Newman Hall / Holy Spirit Parish at the University of California at Berkeley.

Paulist Fr. Robert Cary will now serve as the minister to our senior Paulist Fathers, assisting them in various ways. Fr. Bob is a preacher of parish missions. He is based in Grand Rapids, MI.

Paulist Fr. Evan Cummings is becoming an associate director of St. Thomas More Newman Center, the Catholic campus ministry at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.

Paulist Fr. Charles Cunniff is becoming superior of the Paulist Fathers in Boston. He will serve in this role in addition to being associate pastor of the Paulist Center in Boston.

Paulist Fr. Michael Hennessy is becoming one of our associate vocation directors. He will serve in this role in addition to being associate pastor of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.

Paulist Fr. Jimmy Hsu is becoming one of our associate vocation directors. He will serve in the role in addition to being associate director of the University Catholic Center at the University of Texas at Austin.

Paulist Fr. Steven Petroff is becoming vice rector (associate pastor) of St. Patrick’s Catholic American Parish in Rome, Italy.

Paulist Fr. Paul Rospond is becoming an associate pastor of our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.

Paulist Fr. Rick Walsh is becoming pastor of our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.

Paulist Fr. Stuart Wilson-Smith is becoming an associate pastor of Old St. Mary’s Church in Chicago.
