Today (September 29), the Church celebrates the Feast of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.

At our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City, the Archangel Michael is depicted in a stained glass in a large and beautiful window behind the high altar.

The Psalm response for today’s feast is “In the sight of the angels, I will sing your praises, Lord” (Psalm 138).
