Announcement of our Victim Assistance Coordinator

The Paulist Fathers are committed to protecting children and aiding in the healing process for the victims and survivors of sexual abuse.

Today, we announce that Antonia R. Nedder will serve as our Victim Assistance Coordinator.

Antonia has been a member of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) Region II Review Board since 2009.  

Her relevant experience includes work as an Assistant District Attorney, where she prosecuted cases in both the District Courts and Superior Courts of Massachusetts.  As an Assistant DA, she worked extensively with crime victims, especially victims of sexual assault.

She was a member of the Sexual Assault Unit for the Essex County District Attorney’s office, and was the Coordinator of both the Custodial Kidnapping and the Disabled Person’s Abuse departments.

She also presented trainings on trial practice to law enforcement, to fellow assistant district attorneys, and to staff.  

She has served on various community and regional boards including the I AM Strong Foundation, which seeks to erase the stigma of mental health issues in adolescents.

She is a liturgical musician and choir director, and is the creator and director of a music program for St. Francis House homeless shelter in Boston.
