by Jennifer Szweda Jordan
July 22, 2019

Paulist Fr. Tim Sullivan has been a social justice-minded community type from the start. His upbringing is deeply influential on his ministry. His youth included extensive involvement in the Christian Family Movement that works to make parishes a “family of families.” Visitors to his home included social justice advocate Fr. Dan Berrigan and the famed linguist Noam Chomsky. Fr. Tim’s activism has included service to the homeless, the disabled, and interfaith work, in addition to serving the families in the parish.

In this interview, he speaks with Jennifer Szweda Jordan for the Paulist Fathers. This interview is also available on StoryCorps.
