Paulist Productions, along with its sister company Paulist Pictures, produces films and television programs that uncover God’s presence in the contemporary human experience. The ministry’s mission is to challenge viewers to love others and to liberate one another from all that is dehumanizing. Paulist Productions encourages other entertainment professionals to portray the dignity of the human person through their work in theater, television, radio and film.

In 1960, Paulist Father Elwood “Bud” Keiser founded Paulist Productions; since then, it has won many awards for its films and television shows, including five Emmy Awards, the Humanitas Award, the Christopher Award and five Gabriel Awards.

Notable achievements include the films Romero, starring Raul Julia; Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story, starring Martin Sheen; and the made-for-TV movie The Lost Valentine starring Betty White.

Paulist Productions and Paulist Pictures continue to develop new projects and are committed to their legacy of incisive, illuminating and affirming television and film production.
