Church of Santa Susanna - Rome
The American Church in Rome

In 1921 the Paulist Fathers were authorized by Pope Benedict XV to establish a Procura and House of Studies. On January 10, 1922, Pope Benedict XV gave the Paulist Fathers charge of the church of Santa Susanna. On June 24, 1991, Pope John Paul II reaffirmed its designation as the church in Rome for the faithful from the United States.
