St. Peter's Parish
St. Peter’s has been served by the Paulist Fathers since 1914. The parish is a diverse Catholic community committed to being contemporary disciples of Jesus Christ, following the example of St. Peter, our patron, collaborating with the Paulist mission of Evangelization, reconciliation and ecumenism. We think globally, reflect prayerfully, and act locally in the city of Toronto. We are invited to be persons of faith and, as individuals of diverse backgrounds, are called to be a community of believers who are "one heart and one mind." We are disciples inspired by the Gospel vision who embark upon the waters of life and travel together as companions on the voyage of faith. We are a people entrusting to God the direction of our lives and are willing to discover new ways to celebrate our Catholic Christian Faith and our Canadian heritage. We are bridge-builders reaching out to and transforming our local society with the Gospel message. We give thanks for over one hundred years of parish life and eagerly embrace the mission of the Church as we move into the 21st Century.
