Pastoral Council Election
This year’s Pastoral Council elections will take place after all the liturgies on the weekends on May 31/ June 1 and June 7/8. There are four open seats, each serving a two year term that begins in Sept. 2008. By May 8, those interested in running must deliver to the Council mailbox on the 6th floor a notice of their desire to serve. This notice must be signed by 25 community members willing to support the person’s candidacy. Prospective candidates also must submit by that day a brief statement indicating who they are, why they want to be on the Council, and what they would like to see happen on the Council. In addition, we ask for a photo that will be posted on the bulletin board in the elevator lobby along with the statement. Council members and all the members of the staff are available to provide additional information on the process and on the responsibilities involved in being on the Council. Please see them for more information.
