Paulist CenterCommunity’s Pastoral Council
Several steps are being undertaken to faciliate communication between the Paulist Center Community’s Pastoral Council and members of the the community. A photo display of council members will soon appear on the bulletin board in the hallway where the minutes of council meetings are posted. A few items from the minutes will be highlighted in the bulletin occasionally by messages such as this one. Council members will alternate with music ministers in offering a welcome at the beginning of our weekend liturgies. The welcoming and the photos will help to identify council members. Community members should always feel free to approach them with concerns or compliments.
Do We have your Email Address?
The Center is using email addresses to send out informational mailings on a more regular basis, but we can only include you if we have your current email address! If you did not receive our Advent email with all of the Advent/Christmas services and events, that means we either have no email for you or an inaccurate one. If you want to be sure to be on our list, please fill out a Welcome Card either in the racks in the vestibule or online at www.paulist.org/boston and we will be sure you receive the next mailing. Please give us your snail mail and phone number as well, so our database listing is complete. Thank you!

Supper Club Seeks $100 for New Fan
The Paulist Center’s Supper Club prepares and serves a nutritious hot dinner for 160 guests each Wednesday in the downstairs kitchen. The oscillating wall fan which helps keep the volunteer cooks comfortable year round is irreparably broken and needs to be replaced. It would be fabulous if we could receive a directed donation of $100 to replace the fan so that we do not need to use money that could otherwise be spent on food. Please contact Patty Simpson at 617-948-2428 or pattypcc@aol.comif you would like to helpwith this request. The Supper Club volunteers appreciate your support!

SS. Francis & Therese Worker House Claire and Scott Schaeffer-Duffy 52 Mason St. Worcester, MA 01610 January 9, 2008
Dear All,
The Parishioners at the Paulist Center, Many, many thanks for your Christmas donation of linens, dishes, and gift cards. We go through sheets and towels like water here so it is always helpful to be able to replenish our stash. We feel rather luxurious having the large plush towels with wash cloths and hand towels that actually match. We distributed the phone cards to our guests and used some of the gift cards to purchase gifts for our children - a skateboard, a winter coat, books and music from Barnes & Noble. Thank you again for your extraordinary generosity. May God grant all of you a new year of good health, joy and courage to create the peace this world so urgently needs. Christ’s Peace, Claire
