Protecting Children

The Paulist Fathers are committed to protecting children and aiding in the healing process for the victims and survivors of sexual abuse.

We are deeply sorry for the pain suffered due to the actions of some members of the clergy.

Please visit this link to read the complete, updated list of Paulist Fathers who have abused minors or who have been credibly accused of abusing minors.

Any person who has any concerns or information about a Paulist Father in this regard is asked to contact Paulist Fr. John Behnke, our safety officer, at (212) 757-8072 or [email protected].

Those with concerns also should contact law enforcement agencies, as well as safe environment officers or victims assistance coordinators in their local diocese or archdiocese.

The Paulist Fathers’ victim assistance coordinator is Antonia R. Nedder. She may be reached at (212) 757-8072, ext. 211, or [email protected].

We pray for all victims and survivors of sexual abuse by clergy, especially minors, that they may receive healing, justice, and peace.
